Reports indicate NVIDIA plans to raise AI server prices by more than 15% from early 2027, with the increase driven largely by memory component costs. Rupee billing as a hedge
With hardware costs rising and priced in dollars, Webyne argues that currency exposure has become a material line item for Indian AI teams.
"If you're paying an international provider in dollars for GPU time, you're carrying two risks — the hardware price rise everyone is talking about, and the exchange rate nobody budgets for," said Rameet Singh. "Rupee billing removes one of them entirely. And renting rather than buying removes the other, because the price rise lands on our balance sheet, not the customer's.

All GPU capacity runs from Webyne's Tier III facilities in Noida and Mumbai. For organisations in banking, healthcare and government, where data residency obligations increasingly determine where workloads can run, the physical location of the GPU has become a compliance question rather than a preference.
